TAILSCOPE ("the Service") is a hosted dashboard for Tailscale network observability, provided by Peter Lodri ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
TAILSCOPE reads device metadata from your Tailscale tailnet using credentials you provide (a Tailscale OAuth client ID and secret you generate yourself in your own Tailscale admin console), and displays a device-health dashboard, history, and email alerts. An optional agent you run yourself can additionally stream live traffic data for a particle-flow visualization panel.
You are responsible for the Tailscale OAuth client you create and paste into TAILSCOPE. We recommend scoping it to the minimum permissions needed (read access to devices) rather than an "all" scope. You can revoke it at any time from your own Tailscale admin console, which immediately cuts off TAILSCOPE's access.
The Service is $3/month, billed via Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles payment processing directly. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
You can also get access via GitHub Sponsors instead of a card subscription — either a $3/month recurring sponsorship or a one-time $20 contribution, both handled entirely by GitHub Sponsors. A GitHub Sponsorship grants the same TAILSCOPE dashboard access as a Stripe subscription (access continues for as long as the sponsorship is active, or for one billing period after a one-time contribution), and additionally includes: an invite to our private Discord; private Discord access to ENTHEAI; the ability to suggest ideas for the live particle-flow visualization via issues or discussions on the open-source tailscope repository (a courtesy, not a guarantee any particular idea gets built); and more hands-on setup help than the standard subscription.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and TAILSCOPE is not a substitute for Tailscale's own admin console or security tooling — it is an observability convenience layer on top of it.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
